Autotech Recruit is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Southampton and surrounding areas, offering a fully mobile role with the flexibility to start and finish your day from home.

The position delivers servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations, with strong diagnostic work and a focus on customer service while working independently.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible hours and travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and technical advice.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
• Manage your daily schedule effectively across multiple customer locations.
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mobile Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to working hours and travel within the territory.
