Role Summary

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you'll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you'll deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We'll equip you for success from day one – with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit all provided. Think independence, career progression and real work‑life balance with a 40‑hour week that keeps you moving out of the same four walls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and checks on a daily basis across a variety of light vehicles.
  • Manage stock, complete reporting and keep customer conversations flowing.
  • Think on your feet, make the right call for each customer and represent the RAC with pride.
Key Requirements
  • Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
