Job summary

FMG Repair Services is seeking a Mobile Bodyshop Technician to join our fast-growing team in Glasgow and surrounding areas. You’ll travel in a modern Mercedes Sprinter, performing bodyshop repairs at customer sites, homes, and workplaces, with central scheduling and no cold-calling.

Qualifications

• Proven bodyshop technician with mobile experience.
• Full UK/EU Driving Licence required.
• Experience with Mercedes Sprinters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travelling across Glasgow and surrounding areas for mobile repairs.
• Carry out repairs at customer locations, workplaces or homes.
• No cold calling; work supplied by central team.

We have an exciting opportunity for proven Bodyshop Professionals to join the UK's leading Accident and Collision Repair specialists as a Mobile Bodyshop Technician. If you can see yourself driving one of our state-of-the-art Mercedes Sprinters which are fully kitted out with fully compliant repair capsules with a self-sufficient power source then this could be the job for you.

You will be travelling around the Glasgow and surrounding area as part of a mobile repair team, completing repairs on customers’ cars at their workplaces, homes, and approved locations. NO COLD CALLING. All work is supplied in advance by a central team.

Whether you want to develop in your current role or are hungry to learn new skills and take on greater responsibilities, we can help you build a personalised plan to give you the training and support you’re looking for.

We have industry recognised training to keep you up to date with latest repair methods. Naturally, due to the nature of the job you will need to have a full UK/EU Driving Licence.

Through our in-house IMI accredited training centre we make a commitment to you to regularly refresh your knowledge and can broaden your technical skills to include a wide range of specialisms including Hybrid & EV vehicle repair etc.

Alternatively, for those trained to Level 2, we’ll help you complete a training needs analysis so we can build you an individual training program for you to increase your skill set.
