Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair forklifts and related equipment across the Kent area. You will perform planned maintenance and breakdowns as part of a field service team, with no extended stays away from home required.

The role offers two salary bands (up to £36k with 40h weeks, or up to £41k with 45h weeks). A fully expensed van, fuel card, and pension are included, along with training and 25 days holiday plus holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience on forklifts, HGV or similar equipment.
• Ideally hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery in field service work.
• Provide reactive breakdown coverage within allocated area.
• Complete training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Keep van stocked with necessary spare parts overnight.

Mobile Vehicle Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This is an ideal role for those seeking a new industry in a field based role.

The Mobile Vehicle Technician role will be suitable for candidates who have worked on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. If you are a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic looking for a change of industry and like the idea of being mobile role this role could really appeal.

Part of a team, youll be responsible for carrying out PPM and breakdown on a range of forklifts, typically an hour maximum from your home location. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Overtime is available if desired mostly in the week.
