Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the Milton Keynes area. You will perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for a fleet across Buckinghamshire, delivering roadside assistance and routine servicing while focusing on DPF tasks for Jaguar/Land Rover clients.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with broad vehicle experience.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Milton Keynes

Our client, an automotive fleet maintenance business that has been operating nationwide since 2008, is currently looking to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team, helping cover the Milton Keynes area.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will involve carrying out roadside assistance to customer vehicles, fleet maintenance, specialist DPF work and Jaguar/Land Rover-focused tasks, whilst also conducting routine inspections, repairs and servicing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to fleet vehicles across the Buckinghamshire region.
• Deliver roadside assistance and emergency call-out services to clients, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime.
• Carry out DPF diagnostics, cleaning, and repair work, with a focus on Jaguar/Land Rover vehicles.
• Complete regular vehicle servicing, MOT preparation, and inspections in accordance with manufacturer standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Time-served technicians without formal qualifications will also be considered based on experience.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, with experience working on a wide range of vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Basic salary up to £40,000, with on-target earnings of £50,000.
• Company van fully equipped with tools and diagnostic equipment.
