Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a leading engineering team in the United Kingdom. You will service, maintain and repair diesel engines within recycling and renewable energy sites, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer service on client sites.

Full training will upskill you from vehicle work to plant, large engines, generators and associated machinery. The role includes overtime opportunities and a company van, plus travel coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing diesel engines.
• Experience with power generation machinery (CHP units, generators) is advantageous.
• Ability to diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and rebuilds of diesel engines.
• Service, maintenance and repair of power generation machinery (CHP units, generators).
• Service, maintenance and repair of mobile plant machinery (e.g. forklifts, cranes).
• Carrying out breakdown support on CHP units and generators.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Supporting installation, commissioning and optimisation of new systems.
• Delivering high standards of customer service on client sites.
• Working independently and in a wider technical support team.

We’re looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join clients leading engineering team, working to service, maintain, and repair diesel engines within recycling & renewable energy sites.

Full Training provided to up skill from vehicles to - Plant, Large engines, Generators, and associated machinery.

• Service, Maintenance and Rebuilds of diesel engines
• Service, Maintenance and Repair of power generation machinery - CHP units, Generators, Biogas systems.
• Service, Maintenance and Repair of Mobile Plant Machinery - Material Handlers, Loading Shovels, Forklifts, Cranes, Skid Steers
• Service, Maintenance and Repair of Conveyor Systems, Shredders, Balers Compactors.
• Carrying out breakdown support on CHP units and generators
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems
• Delivering a high standard of customer service while working on client sites
• Working both independently and as part of a wider technical support team
