Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service, maintain, and repair diesel engines on recycling and renewable energy sites in Lancashire. Full training will upskill you from vehicles to plant, large engines, generators, and related machinery.

The role offers a £50,000 base with overtime, a company van, paid travel, and bonus schemes including upskilling training. Regular days, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and maintaining diesel engines on site.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Strong customer service mindset and on-site support skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain diesel engines and associated machinery across sites.
• Repair and overhaul power generation and CHP units and generators.
• Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Provide high-quality customer service on client sites.
• Work independently and as part of a technical team.

We're looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join clients leading engineering team, working to service, maintain, and repair diesel engines within recycling & renewable energy sites.

Full Training provided to up skill from vehicles to - Plant, Large engines, Generators, and associated machinery.

• Service, Maintenance and Rebuilds of diesel engines
• Service, Maintenance and Repair of power generation machinery - CHP units, Generators, Biogas systems.
• Service, Maintenance and Repair of Mobile Plant Machinery - Material Handlers, Loading Shovels, Forklifts, Cranes, Skid Steers
• Service, Maintenance and Repair of Conveyor Systems, Shredders, Balers Compactors.
• Carrying out breakdown support on CHP units and generators
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Supporting installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new systems
• Delivering a high standard of customer service while working on client sites
• Working both independently and as part of a wider technical support team
