Job summary

The AA Mobile Vehicle Mechanic is enabled to carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces, with the tools and support of a recognized motoring brand. You’ll work five days across a 49‑hour week, and earn guaranteed earnings within the stated range with additional bonuses.

Level 2 or 3 NVQ qualifications apply, alongside a UK driving licence and flexible Saturday shifts; the role emphasizes independent day management and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent with strong servicing experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent with strong diagnostics experience.
• Experience as a mechanic in workshop, dealership or mobile environment.
• Full UK Category B driving licence with no more than six points.
• Flexibility to work rota including Saturdays.
• Professional, customer‑focussed approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs at customers' homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults and identify solutions.
• Explain repairs and technical information clearly to customers.
• Manage your day and scheduled jobs independently.
