Job summary

The AA is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to service and repair vehicles at customers' homes or workplaces. You will work with the tools, technology and support of a major motoring brand while building your career in a field-based role.

Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications are required, with a full UK driving licence. A five-day week and shift pattern apply, with ongoing customer interaction and onsite problem solving in diverse locations across the UK.

Qualifications

• For Level 2: NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or accepted equivalent, with strong servicing experience.
• For Level 3: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or accepted equivalent, with strong diagnostics and servicing experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults and identify the right solutions.
• Explain repairs and technical information clearly to customers.
• Manage your day and scheduled jobs independently.
• Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
