Job summary

The AA is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to deliver first-class service and repair work at customers' homes or workplaces. You will inspect, diagnose, service and repair vehicles, including brake replacements and on-the-spot fixes, while attending booked appointments and breakdowns.

Training and support ensure success in this varied, independent role. As a customer champion and local business builder, you’ll represent AA with pride, build relationships in your area, and grow demand while enjoying

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a workshop or mobile mechanic environment.
• Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points).
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair vehicles during on-site visits.
• Perform brake replacements and on-the-spot repairs to keep customers moving.
• Attend a mix of booked appointments and breakdowns at customers' homes or workplaces.
• Represent The AA as a trusted, friendly expert and develop local demand.
