Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join a well-established transport refrigeration equipment provider. You will travel across your allocated area performing servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on a customer fleet.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to work early shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or commercial vehicle experience.
• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge.
• Fault finding and diagnostic experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Electrical knowledge and ability to read wiring diagrams (desirable).
• Computer literate.
• Full UK driving licence – essential.
• Flexible with overtime and early shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Attend customer sites to complete inspections, repairs and maintenance.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults.
• Complete job cards, service records and timesheets accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Support continuous improvement across mobile operations.
• Complete relevant training to become multi skilled.

Our client, a well-established provider of transport refrigeration equipment is looking for a Mobile Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join their team. You will travel across your allocated area, carrying out servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a customer fleet.
