Job summary

Marston Holdings Limited, through NSL, is recruiting a Vehicle Inspector to perform mobile inspections in line with TfL Quality Assurance. You will inspect taxis and private hire vehicles to ensure licensing criteria are met, record findings, and liaise with customers about feedback and rectifications.

The role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service, strong time management, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Ability to check documentation for accuracy and ensure vehicles comply with licensing rules.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear feedback to customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect taxis and Private Hire Vehicles to meet TfL licensing criteria.
• Record inspection findings using PCs and handheld devices.
• Liaise with customers, providing feedback and guidance on re-booking and required rectifications.
• Update the system with vehicle changes, damage reports or new documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and TfL on policy, procedures and changes.
