Job summary

A busy autocentre in Bicester is seeking an experienced Mobile Tyre Fitter to join their workshop team. The ideal candidate will have experience fitting tyres, a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent, and a clean UK driving licence. Responsibilities include attending callouts for tyre fitting, servicing, diagnostics, and conducting repairs to manufacturer standards. A competitive basic salary of up to £28,000 is offered, with potential on-target earnings of £40,000, along with a great benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting tyres in a workshop environment.
• Clean UK driving licence required.
• 2 years post-apprenticeship experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Attending callouts to fit tyres for a large contract.
• Carry out servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Perform cambelt, clutch, gearbox and engine repairs/replacements.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostics.

Our client, a Busy Autocentre in Bicester have the requirement for experienced Mobile Tyre Fitter to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians - Mechanics coming back to the motortrade are most welcome.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

• Attending Callouts to fit Tyres for a Large Contract
• Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
• Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
• Mechanic Warranty Repairs
• Carry out MOT Tester to DVSA standards (If qualified)

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Experience Fitting Tyres
• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• 2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

• Class 4 MOT Licence
• Manufacturer Accreditations
• MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
