Job summary

Worcester Bosch is seeking a Mobile Training Engineer to deliver high-quality technical training across heat pumps, renewable energy systems and combustion products in the South West region.

You will work field-based with autonomy, delivering courses at customer locations, partner centres and Worcester Bosch sites across the UK, building strong relationships and developing training materials for our customers and employees.

Qualifications

• Previous training experience preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of low temperature systems, installations and commissioning procedures.
• NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating or equivalent experience.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training on combustion products using mobile van, partner centres and Worcester Bosch locations.
• Train customers on heat pumps to support renewable technology adoption.
• Provide training to customers and internal employees at various sites across the UK.
• Maintain and develop relationships with colleges and partner centres.
• Assist sales with product launches, exhibitions and factory tours.
• Prepare course content and materials.
• Develop new and existing courses for products and legislation.
• Participate in train-the-trainer projects for new products and services.

Job Description

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Training department as a Mobile Training Engineer (South West)

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Training Specialist to deliver high-quality technical training across our expanding portfolio of heat pumps, renewable energy systems and combustion products.

In this role, you will provide engaging and effective training to both Worcester Bosch customers and employees, helping to develop the skills and knowledge required to support the transition to low-carbon heating technologies.

You will play an important part in supporting the company’s electrification strategy by ensuring customers are equipped to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.

This is a field-based position that offers a high degree of autonomy, working closely with customers, sales teams and fellow training colleagues. You will be responsible for delivering training at customer locations across your designated region, building strong relationships and providing expert support. Occasional travel throughout the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays where required, will be necessary to meet business needs and support wider training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide training on Combustion products utilising mobile training van, partner centres and Worcester Bosch locations
• Provide training to customers on Heat Pumps to support the market share increase in renewable technologies
• Training to customers and internal employees on Gas, Oil and Renewable products at customer locations, partner centres and Worcester Bosch training centres throughout the UK.
• Responsible for maintaining and developing new relationships with colleges and partner centres in your area.
• Assist the sales force with product launches, exhibitions and factory tours
• Prepare course content and materials
• Help maintain the development and upkeep of the Mobile Training Van
• Develop new and existing courses for the product and legislation
• To be involved in train the trainer projects for the new products and services

Education Requirements

• Previous experience in a training capacity is preferable but not essential
• Knowledge of low temperature systems, installations and commissioning procedures
• NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating or equivalent experience
• Full driving licence

• Computer literate with Outlook, PowerPoint and Word is an advantage
• The ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
• Experienced in current health, safety and environment
• Some experience or understanding of renewable technologies

• Comfortable with talking to learners across a wide range of skills and positions.

Working Hours

37 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 – 16:30 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak
