Job summary

TIP Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Trailer Mechanic to join our team. You’ll work on the move, visiting customer sites with our fully equipped MSU to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair trailers.

You’ll thrive on hands-on work with trailers, HGVs or similar, bring a proactive mindset and ownership, enjoy a supportive team, and help keep fleets road-ready and safe for the long haul.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with trailers, HGVs, or similar.
• Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership.
• Good sense of humour; able to work hard and stay positive.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers at customer sites using a fully equipped mobile service unit (MSU)
• Working closely with a supportive hands-on team
• Keeping our customers’ fleets road-ready and safe for the long haul
