Job summary

TIP Group is seeking a skilled Mobile Trailer Technician to join our team in the UK. You’ll inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair trailers on customer sites using our mobile service unit, keeping fleets road-ready and safe.

You’ll bring mechanical experience with trailers or HGVs, a proactive mindset, and a good sense of humor as part of a hands-on team that values you and promotes growth, recognition, and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with trailers, HGVs, or similar is required.
• Proactive mindset and sense of ownership in your work.
• Good sense of humor and teamwork are valued.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers at customer sites using a mobile service unit (MSU).
• Working closely with a hands-on, supportive team.
• Keeping customers’ fleets road-ready and safe for the long haul.
