Job summary

Elite Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Tail Lift Engineer based in Stevenage to service and repair tail lift equipment across customer sites. You will diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults and perform routine servicing, inspections and on-demand repairs.

Applicants should have experience with tail lifts, trailers and Class 2 HGVs, good fault-finding skills, and hold a full UK driving licence. Monday to Friday roles include a company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing tail lifts.
• Experience on trailers and Class 2 HGVs.
• Strong fault-finding in hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• LOLER qualification advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Elite Workforce Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle maintenance company for an experienced Mobile Tail Lift Engineer based in Stevenage

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair a wide range of tail lift equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Work on trailers and Class 2 HGVs fitted with tail lift systems.
• Complete all maintenance records and job sheets accurately.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while working at customer locations.

Requirements

• Previous experience servicing and repairing tail lifts is essential.
• Experience working on trailers and Class 2 HGVs.
• Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• LOLER qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Previous commercial vehicle engineering experience.
