Job summary

Elite Workforce Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle maintenance company for an experienced Mobile Tail Lift Engineer based in Bedford.

This role offers a competitive salary up to £40,000, a company van, a fuel card and Monday to Friday hours, with ongoing training and clear career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tail lift servicing and repair experience required.
• Experience on trailers and Class 2 HGVs.
• Strong hydraulic, electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a wide range of tail lift equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Work on trailers and Class 2 HGVs fitted with tail lift systems.
• Complete all maintenance records and job sheets accurately.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while working at customer locations.

The Role

• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• LOLER qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Previous commercial vehicle engineering experience.
