Diagnostic Healthcare Ltd in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves delivering ultrasound examinations across general, gynae, small parts and MSK within a mobile framework across local sites.

You will interpret findings, report clearly, and work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians, while contributing to CPD, governance activities and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualified sonographer with HCPC registration.
• Experience across general, gynae, small parts and MSK ultrasound.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel to South Wales clinics (desirable).]

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations according to established guidelines, demonstrating proficiency in unsupervised scanning sessions.
• Deliver comprehensive ultrasound scanning and reporting services within your defined scope of practice, interpreting images and generating examination reports.
• Adhere to Trust policies and maintain high standards of practice on Trust sites.
• Collaborate with referring clinicians and, when needed, request Radiologist review of reports.
• Maintain exceptional patient care in a safe environment in line with Diagnostic Healthcare policies.
• Coordinate clinic sessions with Diagnostic Imaging Assistants for smooth patient flow.
• Contribute to the training of other staff and radiographers as advised by Regional Ultrasound Managers.
• Participate in audit and clinical governance activities under the Regional Ultrasound Manager.
• Engage in continuing professional development and keep up-to-date with ultrasound developments.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards in ultrasonography and patient care.
