Job summary

Qualifications

• DCR or BSc in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
• PGDip in Medical Ultrasound or DMU equivalent.
• Significant experience in general, gynaecological, and MSK ultrasound scans.
• Strong understanding of ultrasound techniques.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform and interpret a wide range of ultrasound examinations (general, gynae, MSK) and produce detailed reports.
• Provide differential diagnoses and guidance on patient management.
• Offer second opinions to junior staff and participate in CPD, audits and research projects.
• Promote and deliver high-quality ultrasound training to students, sonographers, radiographers, midwives and registrars.
