Job summary

Arnold Clark is recruiting a Mobile Smart Repair Technician to service vehicles across the North West region. You will travel between locations in a fully equipped repair vehicle and work independently to deliver high-quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be energetic and self-motivated, and ready to provide top-class customer service while maintaining safety standards. Regular breaks and a structured day ensure work-life balance.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence required.
• Smart repair or spray painting experience.
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple vehicles.
• Willingness to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for paintwork (masking).
• Carry out minor damage repairs.
• Polish to remove defects in paint.
• Mix paint as required for applications.
• Apply paint products to a high standard.

We’re currently recruiting for a motivated Mobile Smart Repair Technician to work across the North West region.

Hours

Full time: Monday - Friday 8am – 5.30pm

About The Role

As a Mobile Smart Repair technician, you’ll travel around various locations, carrying out smart repairs to our vehicle sales stock to an excellent standard. You’ll be fully mobile, with access to one of our fully equipped smart repair vehicles.

The right person for the job will be energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to work on their own initiative, and excellent people skills. What’s more, you’ll have a great eye for detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job.

Day-to-day duties

• Preparing vehicles for paintwork (including masking)
• Carrying out minor damage repairs
• Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork
• Mixing paint to apply to vehicles
• Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard

Essential Skills

• A full UK driving licence
• Smart repair/Spray painting experience
• An excellent eye for detail
• The ability to multi-task
• Willingness to work on your own initiative
