Job summary

Go Smart Repair Ltd is seeking a mobile SMART repair technician to visit customers’ homes and perform paint and wheel repairs on a variety of vehicles. You will be provided with a company van, tablet, phone, uniform and equipment, with training and upskilling available as you progress.

The role offers a base salary of £40,000 plus commission, working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30. Flexibility and travel within the region are expected to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months.
• Ideally 3–4 years automotive paint experience (ATA/IMI/QAA and PAS 125).
• Has worked in customer facing roles previously.
• Preferably knowledge of filler application.
• Preferably knowledge and use of pin or glue pulling equipment.
• Able to paint a min of 2 vertical panels and blend.

Responsibilities

• Complete mobile SMART repairs at customers' home locations.
• Finish repairs to high company standards.
• Attend new repair jobs daily at various locations; no two days are the same.

Automotive Repair Systems Ltd and sister company, Go Smart Repair Ltd, together become one of the largest Mobile SMART Repair companies in the UK with a growing workforce of over 150 mobile paint and wheel repair technicians. Due to our structured expansion programme we are now hiring additional mobile paint and wheel repair technicians.

The successful technician will provide paint and wheel S.M.A.R.T repair services to Go Smart Repair's Insurance customers. The role will offer excellent earning potential. The successful candidate(s) will possess a full valid UK driving licence, be physically fit, well presented, friendly, customer focussed and most importantly work to a high standard!

Job Details

• Monday – Friday
• £40,000 Basic Salary (Depending on experience ) + Commission Scheme
• 08:00 – 17:30

Duties

A successful candidate will be responsible for completing mobile smart repairs at customers home locations. You will be complete SMART repairs on a variety of vehicles everyday making sure they are finished to high company standards. Everyday you will be attending new repair jobs in new locations, so no two days will be the same!

Repairs on vehicles will include:

• Minor scuffs and scratches
• Bumper scuffs
• Paint blemishes
• Stone chips
• Small dents
• SMART repairs on alloy wheels
  Experience
  • Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
  • Ideally, a Min 3 - 4 years automotive paint experience (Preferably ATA/IMI/QAA and working to PAS 125 formats)
  • Has worked in customer facing roles previously
  • Preferably good knowledge of filler application
  • Preferably good knowledge and use of pin or glue pulling equipment
  • Able to paint a min of 2 vertical panels and blend
  Requirements
