Job summary

Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL) is seeking an enthusiastic Mobile Sales Assistant to support shop managers and teams of volunteers across Northamptonshire. The role is permanent, part-time with shift work between Monday and Saturday.

You will handle customer interactions, merchandising, Gift Aid promotions, cash handling and volunteer training. This position offers meaningful community impact with excellent employee benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising throughout the shop.
• Assist customers from entry to purchase.
• Explain Gift Aid and other promotions to customers.
• Handle cash and banking procedures; complete paperwork.
• Support training of volunteers.
• Sort and prepare donated stock.
• Travel to other shops within cluster when needed.
• Support Shop Manager in health and safety practices.
• Manage daily shop operations in Manager’s absence.
• Reflect SATCoL values in personal conduct.
