Job summary

Maple Fleet Services Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mobile Installation and Service Engineer to install and service our world‑class commercial vehicle security and safety products. You will start from home each morning and travel to client sites across the region.

The role requires auto electrical knowledge, a Diploma in Auto Electrical or equivalent, and experience with HGVs. You will log installation records on a Toughbook, liaise with Aftersales, and benefit from a company van and PPE.

Job description

Location Various: Swindon/Reading, Leicestershire/Derbyshire and Guildford/Crawley/Tonbridge

An exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as a Mobile Installation and Service Engineer, installing and servicing world class commercial vehicle security and safety products from our diverse range including high security locking, insurance specification alarm systems, air operated locking, air brake immobilisation devices, and so on. The ideal candidate for Mobile Installation and Service Engineer will have experience working on auto electrical systems such as telematics, Canbus, Communications, CCTV, alarms, immobilisers etc.

Responsibilities

As a Mobile Installation and Service Engineer you will undertake daily duties installing / fitting, servicing and repairing our security and safety systems installed to commercial vehicle fleets in your region. Starting from home each morning the position is a mobile one and you will be responsible for closing down each installation and service/repair record remotely using your Panasonic Toughbook Laptop. You will be required to liaise with the Aftersales Team throughout the day to keep them abreast of progress, to order parts and consumables and to resolve any on site issues.
