Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Industrial Cleaning Machinery)

Location: Tottenham, North London (Applicants accepted from surrounding counties).

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (OTE £50,000-£55,000+)

Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00-16:00 (1 in 3 Saturdays / 1 in 12 Sundays)

The client:

Interaction has partnered with a well-established, market-leading industrial cleaning repair, maintenance, and service company. Due to significant growth, they are expanding their field service department and offer opportunities for training, development, and progression within the company. They are looking to hire several electro-mechanical engineers on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Duties:

• Attend breakdowns, perform servicing and installations on industrial cleaning equipment within a 30-mile radius
• Use manual hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (slings, hoists), and hot working tools (blowtorch, heat guns)
• Conduct electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment and IG Engines (Petrol, Diesel, LPG)
• Manage your time effectively to ensure high-quality work is completed efficiently
• Update job reports and order parts as needed
• Follow Health & Safety procedures

The Requirements:

• Experience in electrical, mechanical fault finding, repair, and servicing is advantageous
• Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQs, etc.) are preferred but not essential
• Experience with electrical and mechanical tools
• Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field engineer; experience with industrial batteries, IC engines, or industrial floor cleaning is a plus
• Full UK driving license
