Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking reliable Area Support Officers to cover multiple sites in Bath and surrounding areas. The role requires flexible day and night shifts, with travel between sites and weekend work.

The position offers responsibilities across client premises, with transfer to a permanent role after 12 weeks and benefits including SIA license renewal and a suite of employee perks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and elevate issues when required.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.
