Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a reliable Area Support Officer to join our security team at Taunton sites. Flexible, capable of travel between sites, and ready to work day or night shifts, including weekends.

You will patrol client premises, monitor access, respond to incidents, and complete reports in line with ASCONE/SAFER procedures. A valid SIA DS license and a driving license are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Will travel between sites as required by the business.
• Flexible and capable of taking on additional duties when needed.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and escalate as needed.
• Travel between sites and support additional duties as required.
