Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Plymouth is seeking a Security Guard to cover DWP sites across the region. The role requires compliance with UK law, completion of on-site tasks per Assignment Instructions, and proactive risk awareness to protect people and property.

You will travel between sites, hold front-line security qualifications, and renew licences ahead of expiry. This is a daytime/evening shift with ongoing training and benefits through Mitie.

Qualifications

• Requires front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision.
• CCTV PSS SIA Licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements on site.
• Complete tasks on site as defined within Assignment Instructions.
• Review Instructions and suggest amendments to improve service.
• Maintain required licences and comply with health and safety obligations.
• Follow instructions and procedures and report incidents promptly.

Skills
