Job summary

A leading security solutions provider is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver field-based engineering support across Scotland. Responsibilities include performing repairs, maintaining excellent customer service, and following health and safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of electronic systems, excellent communication skills, and a full UK driving license. This position promotes a first-time-fix culture to ensure customer satisfaction and involves occasional travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronic/electrical circuitry and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; comfortable with PDA/smartphone software.
• Willingness to learn new products and continuously develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-based engineering tasks, including repairs and maintenance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain clear communication.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota for out-of-hours support.
