Job summary

HCLTech seeks a Mobile Security Engineer for fixed-term work in the UK. The role focuses on securing mobile platforms (Android/iOS) and conducting threat modelling. The candidate will evaluate security postures and develop pen-testing tools within a hybrid work setup in London or Bristol.

Responsibilities include hands-on reviews, tooling development, and automation to mitigate risks in mobile apps, with a strong emphasis on DevSecOps practices and cryptography patterns.

Requirements

• Experience of mobile platform security, threat modelling, and mitigation techniques
• In-depth knowledge of mobile app security standards (Android/iOS)
• Familiarity with mobile development, DevSecOps tooling, testing, and automation frameworks
• Deep knowledge and experience using mobile security tools
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and cryptography patterns
• Experience proactively researching new technologies emerging in the security landscape
