Job summary

HCLTech in London/Bristol is seeking a Mobile Security Engineer to strengthen our mobile application security. You will work hybrid with two office days and apply threat modelling, testing, and automation to protect Android and iOS apps while collaborating with DevSecOps teams to implement secure development practices.

The role focuses on secure coding, security tooling, and building a scalable security framework to guard our mobile ecosystem in a dynamic threat landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile platform security, threat modelling, and mitigation techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of mobile app security standards for Android and iOS.
• Familiarity with mobile development, DevSecOps tooling, testing, and automation frameworks.
• Deep knowledge and experience using mobile security tools.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and cryptography patterns.
• Experience researching new technologies emerging in the security landscape.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular reviews of our mobile application security posture using hands-on experience
• Develop and maintain penetration testing security tools, scripts, policies, and procedures
• Build, deliver, and drive the security of our mobile platform
• Design and deliver a world-class security framework, including associated services such as penetration testing, research, and consultancy
• Provide mobile security components and associated services to support a strong security posture across our mobile apps
