Job summary

Wickersley Partnership Trust is seeking a Catering Assistant - Mobile in the Central Team. Based across our school kitchens, you will assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving nutritious meals for students and staff, maintaining high hygiene standards and a friendly, efficient service.

This permanent, part-time role is 20 hours per week during term time plus inset days. This position supports daily lunch services and special events while ensuring compliance with recipes and safety

Qualifications

• Responsibilities include food production and service, ensuring high hygiene standards.
• Adherence to safety regulations and kitchen SOPs.
• Providing friendly customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
• Stock control, inventory checks and delivery monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Food Production & Service: Prepare, cook (grilling/frying) and serve hot and cold items.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and pass audits with proper documentation.
• Customer Experience: Deliver friendly, accommodating service for dietary requests.
• Operational Support: Assist with stock control and deliveries to minimise waste.
