Job summary

Niyaa People is sourcing a Roofer for a large contractor based in Woking. The role covers responsive maintenance and repair work on domestic properties, with a company van, fuel card, and tools provided from day one.

You’ll join a reputable builder known for housing sector work and employee development in a stable, full-time position. As a Roofer, you will perform repairs on flat, tiled, and slated roofs, inspect defects, and undertake minor carpentry or flashing tasks.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years trade experience, ideally within a repairs or maintenance environment.
• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations (or equivalent).
• Experience working on flat, tiled, and slated roofs.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance on flat, tiled, and slated roofs.
• Inspecting roof defects to determine the most effective repair methods.
• Undertaking minor carpentry work associated with roofing tasks.
• Carrying out minor lead or metal flashing works.
• Comfortable using the PDA.
