Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking Mobile Retail Security Officers to cover multiple supermarket locations around Glasgow. You will provide a visible security presence, deter theft, and deliver excellent customer service while rotating across stores as needed.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, DBS clearance, UK right to work, and the ability to travel between sites. A driving licence and own vehicle are preferred. Join a dynamic, multi-site team committed to safety and support for our communities.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Able to pass an enhanced DBS and BS7858 clearance.
• Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) and relevant security experience.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-profile security presence to deter theft and incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols across stores and perimeters.
• Monitor CCTV and identify suspicious activity in real time.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies promptly.
• Carry out searches in line with policies and legal requirements.
• Liaise with store management to address risks and loss prevention.
• Produce clear incident reports in a timely manner.
• Deliver professional customer service and assist queries.
• De-escalate challenging situations safely.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and client procedures.
• Travel between sites as required and support wider security operations.
