Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking Mobile Retail Security Officers to cover multiple supermarket locations. You will deter theft, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service across sites.

The role requires flexibility to travel between stores, a valid SIA licence, DBS clearance, and a driving licence. Equal opportunity employer with opportunities for growth within a large facilities management group.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK and be able to pass an enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance.
• A valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) and relevant security experience.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-profile security presence to deter theft and incidents across multiple stores.
• Conduct regular patrols of shop floors, entrances and perimeters.
• Monitor CCTV and identify suspicious activity in real time.
• Respond quickly to incidents, alarms and emergencies.
• Carry out searches in line with policy and legal requirements.
• Liaise with store management to address risks and support loss prevention.
• Produce clear, timely incident reports.
• Deliver a professional customer experience and assist queries.
• De-escalate uncomfortable situations calmly and safely.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and client procedures.
• Travel between sites as required and support wider security operations.
