Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Relief Chef Manager to provide cover in the Cambridge area. The role is term-time only (38 weeks) and requires you to have your own transport, as it is a mobile-based position.

You will prepare, cook, and present meals to the standards required by Caterlink and our clients, ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations, and support site-based teams with budgets and inventories.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation to high standards.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety and food safety regulations.
• Experience supervising kitchen teams and managing inventories/budgets.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that locations meet statutory and company Health and Safety standards and environmental regulations.
• To uphold Caterlink’s reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers.
• To support day-to-day location operations and supervise teams, including inventories, budgets and action plans.
