Job summary

Caterlink Ltd is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to cover Exeter and Torbay, term-time only with no weekends. This mobile role requires your own transport. You will work 15 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, at a rate of 12.71 per hour, supporting site-based teams.

You will help prepare and present food to required standards, ensuring Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed, while maintaining great service and managing day-to-day operations like inventories and budgets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to manage inventories and monitor budgets.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Catering Manager with food preparation and presentation to required standards.
• Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed and paperwork completed.
• Contribute to maintaining the company's reputation for excellent food and service.
• Assist with day-to-day location operations, including inventories, budgets and action plans.
