Job summary

Caterlink Ltd is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to cover Exeter and Torbay, term-time only with no weekends. This mobile role requires your own transport. You will work 15 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, at a rate of 12.71 per hour, supporting site-based teams.

You will help prepare and present food to required standards, ensuring Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed, while maintaining great service and managing day-to-day operations like inventories and budgets.

Job description

We are hiring for a Relief Catering Assistant to provide cover in the Exeter and Torbay area to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility. This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport. The role:

• 12.71 per hour
• 15 hours per week working Monday - Friday
• Term-time only - working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To help the Catering Manager prepare and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company's reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
