Job summary

NHS Property Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Refrigeration) to join our Engineering team. The role covers Midlands sites, predominantly Coventry and Tamworth, with travel across the region as required.

You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, while managing your workload and contributing to service excellence. This is a mobile role with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• F-Gas qualification (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent) mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs effectively and safely.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety requirements.
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders to provide excellent service delivery.
• Support wider engineering teams when required.
• Participate in the regional on-call rota.
