Job summary

Simply Recruitment Group is seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer for a permanent role in Southampton. The position covers from Midlands to South areas and involves nationwide travel to healthcare sites, ensuring HVAC and refrigeration systems stay fully operational.

You will service, maintain and repair split ACs, chillers and AHUs on mobile medical units, complete PPM inspections and assist with installations and upgrades as required.

Qualifications

• Proven refrigeration and HVAC maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South of England.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on split AC systems, chillers and AHUs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections on mobile medical units.
• Travel to NHS and private healthcare facilities across the South of England.
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota for breakdown support.
• Assist with installations, commissioning and upgrade projects as required.
• Maintain company tools, testing equipment and company vehicle.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals; complete service reports and compliance documentation.
