Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking a skilled Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to service commercial and industrial refrigeration systems across sites in Leicester and Northampton. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

The role is field-based with a company vehicle, standard 40-hour week and occasional travel to nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial or industrial refrigeration maintenance experience.
• F‑Gas Category 1 qualification – essential.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair skills.
• Experience working on refrigeration systems within commercial or industrial environments.
• CO₂ (R744) or ammonia (R717) experience would be desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting the wider engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across food production sites.
• Maintain, repair and diagnose commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and remedial works.
• Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Complete routine inspections and ensure all works are carried out in line with relevant regulations and site procedures.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and job reports.
• Provide additional support across other sites when required.
• Maintain strong customer service standards while working across client environments.
