Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is recruiting a Mobile General Maintenance Technician for the South East Trains network. The role covers building fabric maintenance across railway stations in Kent and surrounding areas, requiring a broad skill set and the ability to work independently.

You will perform repairs, decorating, carpentry and minor plumbing, with a company van provided and a UK driving licence essential. PTS training may be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Broad range of building maintenance skills including fabric repairs, decorating and minor carpentry.
• Experience performing fabric-related PPM and reactive maintenance in commercial or industrial settings.
• Safe work practices and knowledge of RAMS and permit-to-work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across railway stations.
• Complete fabric-related tasks and repairs to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs across multiple locations with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with engineers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure safety and quality.
