Job summary

FormSoft Inc. is hiring multiple full-time Quality Assurance Engineers in the United Kingdom. Candidates should have substantial manual testing experience for mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and be capable of testing Web applications as well.

The role requires at least a bachelor's degree in computer science and 2–5+ years of software testing experience, with automation background as a major plus. Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, bug life cycle, and basic programming is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 2-5+ years of software testing experience; automation background is a plus.
• Experience in Functional, System and UI Testing.
• Understanding of configuration management and Bug Life Cycle.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes and testing methodologies (Black/Gray box).
• Basic programming skills.
• Good DB concepts and SQL queries.
• Proficiency with Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Experience testing Android and iOS mobile apps and Web apps.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual testing of the application including mobile platforms.
• Report defects and track Bug Life Cycle.
• Collaborate with QA, Development and Management teams.
• Develop and follow QA strategies and test plans.
• Document, conduct R&D and regression testing as needed.
• Identify anomalies and deviations from specifications and learn continuously.
• Work both as part of a team and individually.
