Job summary

Persistent is seeking a Mobile Functional Tester to ensure quality and performance of mobile banking apps on iOS and Android. This role, based in Northampton, focuses on end-to-end validation, integration testing, defect management and customer experience within a regulated financial-services environment, in close collaboration with Agile delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on testing expertise across Functional, Regression, System, and Integration Testing.
• Mobile testing on iOS and Android for phones/tablets.
• Experience validating native, hybrid, and responsive mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test scenarios, cases, and data for mobile apps.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Validate customer journeys across iOS and Android.
• Execute API and database validations supporting mobile functionality.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.
