Job summary

Stef & Philips Limited is seeking a reliable Handyman to join our Maintenance Department across properties in West and North West London. This hands-on role covers painting, basic repairs, end-of-tenancy cleans, lock changes, and general maintenance to keep properties safe and ready for occupancy.

You will travel to multiple sites across London, so a full UK driving licence is essential. The role requires practical skills, good communication with residents, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman or property maintenance experience.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and decorating skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems independently.
• Strong communication with residents.
• Good time management and prioritisation.
• Physically fit and able to lift, use ladders.
• Full clean driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Painting & Decorating: touch-ups and full interior/exterior painting.
• Cleaning vacated/void units including kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas.
• Furniture delivery and assembly including white goods.
• Lock changes as needed.
• Basic repairs to doors, handles, tiling, carpentry and plumbing.
• End-of-tenancy preparation and waste removal.
• Rubbish collection assistance as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
