Job summary
TipTopJob is seeking an experienced multi-skilled maintenance operative based in Stepney Green, London, covering reactive repairs across a portfolio of HMOs. You will travel daily to sites, carrying out carpentry, painting, plumbing and light electrical work, with small refurbishment projects and cost-conscious material handling.
The role includes logging updates via Fixflo, working to high standards of safety, and occasional team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson in residential property maintenance.
- Proven ability in two core trades: carpentry/partitions and decor.
- Comfortable with basic plumbing and electrical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Reactive repairs across London HMOs: carpentry, plumbing, electrics, painting.
- Small projects such as partitions and general refurbishment works.
- Quick fixes across multiple properties per day within your patch.
- Diagnosing issues on-site and fixing to a high standard first time.
- Plan day and materials in advance; log status with photos via Fixflo.
- Source materials within procedure; keep costs and waste down.
- Work to Health & Safety standards; PPE provided.
- Leave tenants' homes clean, tidy and respected.
