Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in Milton Keynes is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service, maintain and repair powered access equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults and attend breakdowns, ensuring equipment stays safe and reliable for action.

Applicants should have experience in powered access or similar engineering, strong fault-finding skills and a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in Powered Access, Plant or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CAP registration would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance.
• Working with leading brands including Genie, JLG, Skyjack and Niftylift.
• Keeping equipment safe, reliable and ready for action.
