Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Plumber to cover Bristol and Bath, working Mon-Fri with 8-hour shifts between 7am and 6pm. The role focuses on PPMs, water hygiene and general plumbing across commercial and residential properties, with a company van provided and local patch duties.

You'll be comfortable working independently, managing workload and performing water treatment and Legionella-related tasks. Overtime is available for those who want it.

Qualifications

• Experienced plumber with a strong background in commercial or facilities maintenance.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.
• Training can be provided for specific tasks such as water treatment or fire alarm maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across multiple sites.
• Perform PPMs and compliance checks (water hygiene) across commercial and residential properties.
• Conduct water treatment, tap temperature testing and recording, Legionella checks and flushing as needed.
• Carry out general plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Perform fire alarm checks and basic maintenance where required.
• Inspect and test emergency lighting.
• Participate in general building maintenance across sites.

Mobile Plumber

Bristol & Bath Area

Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Company Van

We’re looking for a Mobile Plumber to join a growing team covering sites across Bristol and Bath. The role is ideal for an experienced plumber who enjoys being out on the road, wants variety in their day and is confident carrying out planned maintenance and compliance checks across commercial and residential properties.

You’ll mainly be working across commercial offices, care homes and residential/commercial properties, carrying out PPMs, water hygiene checks and general plumbing maintenance.

What you’ll be doing:

• PPMs make up around 60% of the role
• Planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
• Water treatment and water hygiene duties
• Tap temperature testing and recording
• Legionella-related checks and flushing where required
• General plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Fire alarm checks and basic maintenance where required
• Emergency lighting inspections and testing
• General building maintenance duties across multiple sites

• Up to £40,000 salary
• Monday to Friday only

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced Plumber with a strong background in commercial or facilities maintenance. You'll need to be comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and completing PPM and compliance tasks to a high standard.

Experience with water treatment, tap temperatures, fire alarms and emergency lighting would be a big advantage, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
