Job Opportunity: Maintenance Plumber

Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Plumber to join a busy and successful maintenance team working on government estates in the Leeds area.

This is a permanent position offering circa £30,500, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week during the day. On-call hours are to be announced.

Job Description

As a Maintenance Plumber, you will carry out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the site. The role requires flexibility as you may be called upon to support works outside your core discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial plumbing and leak repairs
• Conduct basic building services maintenance
• Complete small works plumbing refurbishments
• Carry out PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
• Ensure health & safety and compliance engineering on each facility
• Perform compliance checks such as tap temperatures and TMVs
• Update the CAFM system and log job statuses
• Respond to Helpdesk requests professionally and promptly
• Support other maintenance team members with ad-hoc tasks across disciplines

Skills & Requirements

• Recognised professional qualification in Plumbing
• Experience in maintenance within commercial-sized buildings
• Presentable and reliable
• Able to pass security checks
• Willing to work across other maintenance areas
• Strong planning and workload management skills
• Valid driving license
