Summary

A UK energy consultancy is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to assist in designing and delivering sustainable, low-carbon heating and ventilation systems for major energy user clients across the UK.

Our client's solutions include HVAC upgrades, EV charging solutions, the electrification of heat, and embedded renewable energy technologies.

This is a new role created due to business growth and is suitable for someone eager to expand their knowledge of mechanical building design.

This role is hybrid, with some travel to the offices in West Yorkshire and site visits across the UK (all travel paid for).

The role

• Assist in conducting energy audits across the UK to help reduce energy costs in the commercial sector.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering teams and coordinate with design consultancies to develop proposals for clients.
• Support the installation and commissioning of energy efficiency measures on site.

About you

• Experience in designing and delivering sustainable, low-carbon heating and ventilation systems (1+ years).
• Experience in HVAC design.
• Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
